neurological physiotherapy
Have you recently been discharged from the hospital after a neurological injury and want to maximize your recovery?
Have you been given a life-changing neurological diagnosis and want the support and guidance to optimize your mobility?
Do you have any activities in your daily life that are becoming challenging and want to improve your strength or function to maintain your independence?
Functional movement
Treatment is focused on functional movements and tailored to individual goals. Our treatment plans are based on a framework focusing on choosing meaningful activities, setting up the tasks to address impairments, and providing therapeutic hands-on support as needed.
targeting neuroplasticity
Our approach to neurological rehab is guided by one of our favourite quotes from an NDT course that inspires us to remember that change is possible when clients are challenged appropriately:
“Any brain can change at any time and any age”
evidence-based treatment
We use our training in Neurodevelopmental Technique (NDT) and Bobath models to create a framework for our approach when working with individuals with neurological conditions.
Is this right for me?
Whether you have a new injury or diagnosis you are learning to adapt to, or have been living with a neurological condition for years, we can help you maximize your mobility and help you reach your specific goals.

No. During your initial assessment we take a look at the roles you have in your life, the activities/tasks you want to be able to do in order to fulfil those roles, and the challenges you’re currently facing in completing those activities/tasks. We have experience treating a variety of neurological conditions that has added to our toolbox over the years. We like to look at the pictures, and don’t require a specific diagnosis in order to develop a treatment plan.

For years, we worked in a clinic setting where we simulated tasks/activities clients had challenges with at home. By coming directly to you, we are able to work more specifically toward your movement goals. Additionally, we find being able to work on rehabilitation goals in an outdoor environment has brought a fun element to physiotherapy treatment.
